We only recommend using Sweet Vengeance Oil against someone who is actually and truly evil and who continues to get away with their horrific crimes and will continue to damage others as long as they aren't brought to justice; when you have tried everything else.
To use it against someone who isn't truly guilty could cause the spell to backfire on you, not just because of karma, but because the spirits of the gem elixir within it are formulated (by us) as a fail-safe to stop these oils from taking effect against someone who is innocent.
We have also taken the precaution to assure that the vengeance is no greater (and no less than) the crimes the individual has committed. And of course, for some people, that's going to be pretty bad.
As is the case with the use of any Dark Arts aimed at others, check your heart first and be ready to live with the consequences, most importantly whom you BECOME.
