Twichery Witch’s Salt Herbal Blend is prepared for protection, purification, and spiritual boundary work. Protective salts have long been used in folk magic and Hoodoo to guard the home, cleanse ritual spaces, and establish spiritual defenses against unwanted influences. Like all our formulas, we make this one ourselves. We are literally outside at our bonfire throwing in herbs and chanting and stirring.
In traditional conjure, protection powders and spiritual salts were often placed at thresholds, doorways, and windowsills. The doorway has long been regarded as a spiritual boundary between worlds — the place where what is outside meets what is within. For this reason, protective materials have historically been laid across entrances to guard the home and keep harmful influences from crossing into one’s space. Extending the Blend
To extend the blend for larger workings, many practitioners mix a small portion of herbs (or the whole entire bottle if you want) into a neutral base such as sea salt, cornstarch, or cascarilla.
